Disposable Endings

Well my loves. This is it. This is the end of Disposable New York.

In two week’s time, I will be moving out to California. I know, I know, I’m a total traitor. The West Coast?! How dare I!?

But I’m incredibly excited for my move and the new beginning. There’s nothing better than a fresh start.

I will be combing my room for any forgotten and undeveloped cameras and updating the blog with those if I find them. Otherwise this fabulous and fun project is unfortunately coming to a close.

Who knows though, you might see a Disposable OC one day…

Thanks to everyone for the support and the comments. A special thanks to my brother Pepe, who got me started on this project to begin with.

XOXO,

Mariana

Fire dance.

Ran into this series of performances entirely by accident. I was wandering around with a friend of mine with nothing to do- and we happened upon a Full Moon Festival taking place in the garden on 6th Street and Avenue B. We sat and stared for quite some time. Pretty captivating stuff.

A light in the dark.

Taken at my friend’s old studio in Greenpoint, NY.

Even Scooby-Doo himself can’t seem to sniff this one out.

Proof that, after all, genuinely weird stuff still happens on a pretty frequent basis in my neighborhood. I ran into this performace walking home. To this day I haven’t the slightest clue what I witnessed. But I did manage to use up an entire camera on the event!

Finally!

Some new photos!

Just snapped this one to finish up a roll from who knows when on the way to get a few cameras developed.

Waiting…

Patience my loves. More to come soon….
